Sheer lunacy

Samaritan's Purse, in bringing Ebola victims into the US, is like the medieval princesses described by Thomas Mann in Magic Mountain.  During the bubonic plague in Europe, some of them would leave the safety of their castles and go into the towns and tend the sores of plague victims, even going so far as to drink the pus.  Empathy run amok.
 

Do I matter?

Commercially, I don't matter at all, but spiritually I do.

Who cares about legacy?

Those who worry the most about their "legacy" -- and it's mostly men -- generally don't believe in the afterlife.  They just believe that when they die, oblivion.  If that's true, then for a man with no legacy to speak of, it's like he never was.

Politicians, Keep Out!

Government, i.e. politicians, should stay out of same-sex marriage and abortion altogether.

The New America

Americans have always been sinners, yet God helped us overcome our enemies.
Now we are becoming a nation of the ungodly, and we have not been having as much luck
